Risa Sakamoto, M.D. is a Technical Associate at the Graybiel Lab, where she contributes to histology projects and is learning about basal ganglia research. Originally trained as an anesthesiologist in Japan, she is currently completing her Ph.D. in anesthesiology. She enjoys traveling and trail hiking with her family.
