Kojiro Hirokane

Email: [email protected]
Dr. Hirokane received his BSc in Physics from Kyoto University and Ph.D in Neuroscience from Osaka University, Japan. His previous research focused on the neural mechanism of motor chunking during a skilled movement, using mice electrophysiological recordings. While at McGovern, he is a part of the Graybiel Lab where he performs electrophysiology with opto- and chemo-genetics to understand the mechanism of sequential movement learning, focusing on striatal multiple parallel circuit. In his spare time, Kojiro loves running.
